Personalise Your Noxen Hooded Towel with Custom Embroidery

Make your hooded towel truly your own with Noxen’s personalised embroidery. You can go with your name, initials, a nickname, or even just a word, phrase, or number you love. Custom embroidery is available for all our hooded towels, allowing for an extra means of personal expression.

Choosing Your Text or Design

For standard embroidery, it’s easy to get started. Simply choose the embroidery add-on when selecting your hooded towel and you can enter a name or word of up to 10 characters. The size of the lettering for standard embroidery is approximately 1.5cm high.

If you want to get even more specific with your embroidery design, such as using a business name, specific font style, or even a company or team logo, we can make it happen. For such special requests, it’s best to reach out to us directly.

Delivery & Turnaround Times

In general, all of our hooded towels, including those with embroidery, will arrive to you the day after you place your order. We do our best to pack all requested orders and have them ready for shipment by the end of the same day we receive them. 

Noxen utilises NZ Couriers and Aramex to handle deliveries, and we encourage shipping to business addresses for speed and efficiency. Rural address deliveries may require handover to another courier provider such as NZ Post, which lengthens delivery times.

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number that you can use to get the most up-to-date information.

For embroidery that requires greater customisation (logos, specific fonts and styles, etc.), these need to be outsourced before they can be shipped. We’ll let you know if fulfilment times will be longer on such orders.

If you’re ordering from outside of New Zealand, shipping times will increase. Orders to Australia usually take up to 7 days to arrive. Orders to other countries can take several weeks.

Care Instructions for Embroidered Hooded Towels

Looking after your embroidered hooded towel is simple, and with the proper care it should last you for years to come. Whether you buy an embroidery-free hooded towel or an embroidered one, the care instructions are the same.

Hooded towels do not need to be washed as often as standard clothes, and when you do, you should wash them in cold water with a small amount of detergent. We suggest either a) handwashing your hooded towel or b) running it in your washer on a delicate or handwash cycle.

When using your hooded towel at the beach or pool after a dip in the water, make sure it’s dried out completely between uses. A good average before giving it a proper cold wash is typically after four or five uses of getting dry and cosy after a swim or time in the water.

With an embroidered hooded towel, there might be some faint plastic residue on the towel when you first get it. Don’t worry about this - it’s water soluble and will come off after your first wash.

Our embroidery is positioned on the bottom right tail of each towel. The default thread colour we use is white; however, if the towel's hood and/or pocket are a different colour, we match that colour for the name. The same can be said of embroidery that’s positioned on different parts of the hooded towel, such as the front centre.

How Do I Personalise My Hooded Towels? 

Personalising your hooded towel with embroidery is simple. There are two ways to go about it. First: go to any of our hooded towels’ product pages and choose to add embroidery. With this option, you can provide a simple 10-character piece of text to have embroidered on the bottom right tail of the towel.

If you’re looking for more comprehensive customisation, this is when you should contact us. You can let us know what kind of embroidery design you’re looking for, your preferred colours and placement. If you’ve already made a design, you can provide that to us and we’ll confirm if it’s possible to embroider.

Is There a Minimum Order for My Hooded Towels?

No, there is no required minimum. You can order one hooded towel or 100 - the choice is yours.

Can Embroidery Only Be a Name or Can I Choose?

For our simple embroidery, which you can choose on any product page, you can request the embroidery of a word or words of up to 10 characters (spaces included). This could be your name, a word you like, numbers or symbols.

With our comprehensive embroidery, your options grow even more - you can have logos, personal designs, team names, etc.

Please note that while you can choose almost anything for your embroidery, we will not embroider offensive materials - this includes inflammatory or hateful words and symbols, adult material, etc. If you’re unsure, simply contact us and we can go through our guidelines together.
